Welcome friends!
Man discovers God not by random accident. This is accomplished through deliberate pursuit by the living God, to draw men to Himself by the work of the Holy Spirit. Passion and love motivate the heart of the Holy Spirit. So passionate is God's love that the He relentlessly pursues the lonely, the castaways, the lost, the brokenhearted, rejected, needy, and abandoned souls. His desire to adopt, into the family of God, all who will receive His love, compels Him in this passionate pursuit.
This Divine Ambassador begins to gently impart an unidentifiable longing that can only be satisfied by God's love. He imparts questions within us that require answers. In our search for answers He reveals to us our need for a Savior. Then He reveals the Savior Himself.
Amazingly relational is this Third Person of the Trinity, who finds great joy in companionship with weak and broken human beings, like you and me. Incredibly patient He demonstrates the Father's kind nature to us. He strives with us until, at last, we accept His invitation.
His Work and Your Faith
He imparts the faith required to make the most valuable decision of our lives. That is trusting in Jesus to become our Savior.
Your adoption is complete in the very moment that you choose to believe that Jesus has taken your sins to His death, and He then becomes your Savior and Lord. You instantly become sons and daughters of the Most High God and citizens of a heavenly Kingdom, as well as heirs.
Faithful beyond our comprehension, He continues to impart within willing hearts the desire to do good works. He then continues to strengthen you to accomplish those good works. He empowers you to become what you cannot become through your own efforts. He basically initiates, motivates, and sustains those who call upon Him. He is willing to carry you across the finish line and then He will give you the prize for the victory that He accomplished. This is the heart and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
What an awesome plan this is and what an awesome Friend!
If you have not yet entered into this Divine friendship with Jesus and the Father and the Holy spirit, you are not here by random accident. You have been drawn to this site today by the pursuing love of God, facilitated by the Holy Spirit. He desires to make His heart of unconditional love known to you. He wants you to become His friend. He wants to share His heavenly Kingdom with you and adopt you to be His own. This is an eternal friendship and sonship that He is offering.
Invitation
You need only to ask the Holy Spirit to show you if Jesus is really the Son of God who died for your sins. Invite Him to come into your life. It requires no special prayer. Simply ask, "Holy Spirit come! Would You show me how to have this friendship with You and Jesus and the Father? I'd like to know this love." He never turns down a sincere invitation.
If you have already embarked on this spiritual journey, I hope you will find refreshing on these pages and perhaps some encouragement to draw you into deeper relationship with the One who loves you.
"I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than he would lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead I call you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then your Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."~~John 15:11-17

Rest and receive the love He has given you. Soak in that friendship without striving. Invite the Holy Spirit to come and fill you with His supernatural love. Invite Him to make known to you how valuable you are to Him, how He delights in your friendship. Remember that He is the true vine and you are but a branch. Alone the branch can bear no fruit. Rest in the vine and receive that supernatural love that His joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
Have you ever driven by a vineyard and heard the branches groaning as they sweat and strain to pop out grapes? I didn't think so. Only by the life of the vine flowing through the branches can the harvest be produced. Remain connected and allow that love, that gives you life, to produce the fruit through you.
I challenge you to find a little time each day this week to just relax, have a cup of coffee or tea, and a great chat with the One who loves you and called you to be His friend and not just a servant. Just enjoy this Divine companionship for He delights in you. There is nothing more you can do that will make Him love you any more than He does this day. His love for you is complete.
